〇 About Import Consumption Tax
At Shafto-ya shopping site, we pay the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so you will not be charged any additional fees beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇 Checking Compatibility
Since our entire product database is based on North American (USDM) vehicles, please verify whether the product can be installed on a Japanese (JDM) vehicle before ordering. (If you are unsure whether a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model using the tabs on our top page, this does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese market vehicles without modification.
All products have been translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ About Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of payment. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically at checkout when you enter your shipping address. For large items such as body parts, there are rare cases where there is a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually by email.
In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic Japanese shipping, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow plenty of time for your order. If you are in a hurry, please contact us to check delivery times in advance. Note that all items are shipped via air freight. They are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Please note that all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. They are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for these inspections. Therefore, all parts are sold for "circuit, private property, or off-road use only," and their installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to packaging or products. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges for damaged items, defective products, or items different from what you ordered if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please note that for products sold through us, warranty-related support will be provided "only through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located in Japan.
