At the Shaftoya shopping site, we cover the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so there will be no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Confirmation of compatibility
Our entire product database is based on North American vehicle specifications (USDM); please verify whether the product can be installed on a Japanese vehicle (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure whether a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model using the tabs on our homepage, it does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese models without modification.
All products have been translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of payment. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping within Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow ample time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Please note that all products are transported by air; they are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese vehicle inspection (Shaken) compliance
The products we handle are basically all designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not designed to comply with the "Japanese vehicle inspection system," and we cannot provide strength study documents or similar for that purpose. Therefore, all parts are sold for "track, private property, or off-road use only," and any installation or usage is at your own risk.
○ Regarding warranties
Please check the contents of your order as soon as it arrives. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be cases where the shipping box or the product itself sustains damage during transit. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for damaged, defective, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt. Please also note that for products sold through us, warranty-related support will be provided "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
