Due to the design nature of Subaru's split-block Boxer engine, where the two halves of the engine are fastened around the crankshaft, even new engine blocks can suffer from distortion or misalignment. This distortion can lead to uneven main bearing wear and, in some cases, bearing failure due to lack of lubrication or overloading of the bearing surface material. Mainline bore distortion can occur even in new blocks assembled with high-strength case fasteners, which is common in racing or high-performance engine builds.
If an EJ engine requires repair to address mainline bore distortion issues, the work can be tedious and very expensive. To allow for the use of standard outside diameter bearings, a machinist must remove material from both mating surfaces of the split block and then bore or hone them back to standard housing inside diameter measurements. This process also requires extremely high precision and can result in changes to the distance from the crankshaft centerline to the deck surface, which must then be compensated for.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of settlement. An estimate for shipping costs is calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping amount and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please place your order with time to spare. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Also, all products are shipped via air freight. They are never shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
All products we handle are basically designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they do not comply with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for the Japanese vehicle inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packing box or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for products with shipping damage, defective products, or items different from your order if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, regarding products sold through our company, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through our company."
