〇 Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At the Shafutoya shopping site, we pay the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so you will not be charged any additional fees beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇 Verification of Fitment
Since our entire product database is based on North American vehicles (USDM), please verify fitment for Japanese-spec vehicles (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure whether a listed product fits your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to check for you.)
If you place an order without confirming fitment, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by year, make, and model using the tabs on our homepage, it does not necessarily guarantee that they will fit Japanese-model vehicles without modifications.
All products have been translated into Japanese using translation software. If there are any confusing expressions, please contact us before ordering.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Essentially, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic Japanese shipping, international delivery takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow sufficient time when placing your order. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to check lead times. Please note that all products are transported by air. We do not use sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compliance
All products we handle are fundamentally designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that these products are not adapted to the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we are unable to provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for use on "circuits, private land, and off-road" only; please install and use them at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon delivery. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there is a possibility of shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or exchanges for items that are damaged, defective, or different from what was ordered if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, for products sold through us, warranty support will be handled "only through us." Please note that we do not coordinate with other companies or agencies located within Japan.
