At Shaft-ya, we cover the import consumption tax incurred during customs clearance, so you will not be charged any additional fees beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇 Compatibility Verification
Our entire product database is based on North American specification (USDM) vehicles; please verify compatibility with Japanese specification (JDM) vehicles before placing your order. (If you are unsure if a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to investigate for you.)
If you place an order without verifying compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if items are filtered by year, make, and model using the tabs on our homepage, it does not necessarily guarantee that they will fit Japanese market vehicles without modification.
All products are translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be ambiguous expressions, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are automatically calculated when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the actual shipping cost may occasionally differ significantly from the automatic calculation. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7–14 days, so please allow ample time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm the estimated delivery date. Please note that all products are transported by air. We do not use sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
All products handled by our company are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we cannot provide documents such as strength calculation reports for Japanese inspection purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "circuit, private property, or off-road use," and installation and usage are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please inspect the contents immediately upon delivery. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, packaging and products may sustain shipping damage. We only accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for shipping damage, defective products, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that for products sold through us, warranty support will be handled "exclusively through our company." We do not coordinate with other companies or agencies within Japan regarding warranty claims.
