HPS Performance drop-in air filters are a direct replacement for your vehicle's engine air filter. HPS uses a low-pressure injection molding process to manufacture the panel filter frame, ensuring a high-quality product that allows for up to 25% more airflow than leading brands. The woven cotton filtration media is encased between durable stainless steel mesh, which maintains its rigid pleats. This filter is coated with a specially formulated synthetic oil to capture fine particles within the dual-layer woven cotton media. Depending on the vehicle, it installs in just a few minutes with little to no tools required. HPS Performance drop-in air filters should be maintained every 30,000 miles using the HPS Performance Air Filter Cleaning Kit to maintain optimal filtration and airflow. At Shaftoya Shopping Site, we cover the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import, so there will be no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Verification of Compatibility
Since our entire product database is based on North American vehicles (USDM), please confirm whether the item can be installed on a Japanese model (JDM) before ordering. (If you are unsure if a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look it up for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, make, and model on the tabs on our home page, it does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.
All products have been translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of payment. Shipping estimates are automatically calculated on the checkout page once you enter your shipping address. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please place your order with enough time to spare. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm the delivery date. Please note that all products are transported by air. They are not shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Basically, all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) System," and we cannot provide strength study documents or similar for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private land, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents of your order immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or exchanges for products with shipping damage, defective items, or items different from what was ordered if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, for products sold through our company, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." Please note that we do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
