Built for performance and show, the HPS black Cool Ram Air Intake with heat shield. The 2001-2003 Ford Lobo 5.4L V8 features a free-flowing 3.5-inch mandrel-bent aluminum tube induction system designed to increase horsepower and torque while improving throttle response without compromising a safe air-fuel ratio. The heavy-duty powder-coated steel heat shield included in the kit blocks heat from the engine to maximize cooling. Compared to cold air intakes, the HPS Cool Ram cold air intake is a convenient way to modify the intake on rainy days when a cold air system might be susceptible to water ingestion. The included installation manual provides clear photos and steps to guide the installer through the entire process. The kit includes a mass air flow sensor adapter, allowing you to reuse the stock mass air flow sensor. The pipe also includes a port to plug in the stock air temperature sensor. The HPS performance intake for the Ford Lobo does not require tuning and will not trigger a CEL light. No modifications are necessary during installation. Our entire product database is based on North American (USDM) vehicles, so please verify compatibility with Japanese (JDM) vehicles before placing an order. (Please feel free to contact us if you are unsure if a listed product is compatible with your vehicle. Our support team will investigate for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if items are sorted by year, manufacturer, and vehicle model using the tabs on our top page, this does not guarantee that they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the actual shipping cost may occasionally differ significantly from the amount calculated automatically. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping within Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself plenty of time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to check delivery times. Please note that all products are transported by air. They are not shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection Compatibility
The products we carry are generally designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they do not conform to the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide documents such as strength evaluation reports for that purpose. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please inspect the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there is a possibility of shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement products if we are notified within 7 days of receipt regarding damaged items, defective products, or incorrect items received. Furthermore, regarding products sold through our company, warranty-related support will be provided "only through us." Please be aware that we do not handle support through other companies or distributors located in Japan.
