At Shaft-ya, we cover the import consumption tax incurred upon customs clearance, so you will not be charged any additional fees beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇 Checking Compatibility
Our product database is based on North American vehicles (USDM). Please confirm whether the product is compatible with your Japanese-market vehicle (JDM) before placing an order. (If you are unsure whether a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to investigate for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are filtered by selecting the year, make, and model on our homepage, it does not necessarily guarantee that they will fit Japanese-market models without modification.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the actual shipping cost may occasionally differ significantly from the automatically calculated amount. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our warehouse in the U.S. Unlike domestic shipping within Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself enough time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. All products are transported via air freight; they are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compliance
All products handled by our company are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for this purpose. Therefore, all parts are sold for "use on tracks, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please inspect the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally, shipping damage to the packaging or the product may occur. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for items with shipping damage, defects, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that for products sold through us, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through our company." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
