ECUMaster Bluetooth-enabled Serial Data Logger
The EDL-1 adds logging functionality to the EMU or EMU Black (not compatible with EMU CAN; only for EMUs with a 5-pin serial port). With both Bluetooth functionality and a port for an SD card, the EDL-1 allows you to log all data channels provided by the EMU as if you were logging directly on a laptop. Reviewing data has never been easier: simply remove the SD card (sold separately) and review the logs using your laptop. All logs are timestamped, and the EDL-1’s battery backup ensures the date and time are accurately marked. The EDL-1 can record up to 11 hours of data on a 1GB memory card, so we recommend a card of 4GB or larger. The EDL-1 does not come with a memory card, so you will need to purchase one separately.
Installation of the EDL-1 is simple with a 4-wire connection. The EDL-1 case is compact, with a footprint about 2/3 the size of a business card. Mount it using double-sided tape or Velcro, or use the two mounting screws on the surface of the device to mount the EDL-1 flush to a panel. The built-in Bluetooth function allows users to send data to an Android smartphone or tablet, enabling the use of an Android tablet as a dash.

All product databases are based on North American vehicles (USDM). Please confirm whether or not installation on Japanese vehicles (JDM) is possible before ordering. (If you are unsure if a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model using the tabs on our top page, this does not necessarily mean they are compatible with Japanese-model vehicles without modification.
All products have been translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of settlement. An estimate for shipping costs is calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the actual shipping cost may occasionally differ significantly from the amount calculated automatically. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Essentially, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please order with time to spare. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported by air; they are never shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Compliance with Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
All products we handle are basically designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese vehicle inspection system," and we are unable to provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for products with shipping damage, defective products, or incorrect items if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, for products sold through us, we will provide warranty support "exclusively through us." Please note that we do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
