Cobb Tuning Front Mount Intercooler Kit
Are you looking for an effective solution to eliminate the inconsistent power delivery of your 2015+ STI? Look no further than the all-new black COBB Tuning Front Mount Intercooler. Due to its size and location, the factory top-mount intercooler can easily become overloaded and heat-soaked, resulting in elevated intake temperatures and power loss. Replacing the factory intercooler with the COBB Tuning Front Mount Intercooler ensures your engine receives the coldest air possible, resulting in more power. Featuring a massive bar-and-plate core and 2.5-inch piping, this kit can support over 800 whp.
The intercooler core is finished in a black heat-dissipating coating. The piping is mandrel-bent aluminum and finished in a wrinkle black powder coat to keep your engine bay looking clean. The included BPV adapter plate allows you to install the factory bypass valve, COBB XLE BPV, or any valve with factory-like fitment. The cold-side piping incorporates a bung for an intake temperature sensor, allowing for a direct speed-density conversion. A feature unique to this intercooler kit is the integrated mounting provisions for the factory tow hook or license plate relocation bracket.

The COBB FMIC is designed to work with the COBB SF Intake and airbox combination. Compatibility with other intake kits has not been verified. Installation requires minor trimming of the vehicle's undertray.

Since all items in our product database are based on North American vehicles (USDM), please confirm fitment for Japanese vehicles (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure if a listed product fits your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look it up for you.)
If you order without confirming fitment, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if you select your vehicle's year, make, and model using the tabs on our homepage to filter products, it does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese market vehicles without modification.

〇 Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost. All products are generally shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow ample time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us beforehand to confirm the delivery time. Please note that all products are transported by air; they are not shipped by sea freight.
〇 Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
All products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide documents such as structural strength certificates for Japanese vehicle inspections. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "circuit, private property, or off-road use only," and installation and use are at your own risk.
〇 Regarding Warranty
Please inspect the contents immediately upon delivery. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for items with shipping damage, defects, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt. Please note that for products sold through us, warranty support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
