However, if you are looking for a more exciting driving experience, rigidity and stiffness are not their strong suits. While these unibody chassis are designed to be compliant under significant lateral loads, they are not ideal for spirited daily commuting or tight, aggressive cornering on the track. PRL now offers a solution to address this issue.
PRL Motorsports is proud to offer our Rear Chassis Brace for the 2016-2021 Honda Civic. These braces bolt into key structural points of the chassis and lock into place, limiting chassis flex and increasing chassis rigidity. Our braces mount to the frame rails behind the rear wheel line to reinforce the rear end of the Civic, facilitating precise handling and easier rotation through corners.
The brace bar is constructed from 304 stainless steel and TIG-welded for ultimate strength and longevity. Furthermore, all fittings and adapters used to mount the bar are also made from 304 stainless steel. With grade 10.9 mounting hardware included, these chassis brace kits are built to last, even when exposed to harsh conditions. Excellent corrosion resistance.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping fees are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the automatically calculated shipping fee may occasionally differ significantly from the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic Japanese shipping, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself enough time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us to confirm the delivery date in advance. Note that all products are transported by air freight; they are not shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Please note that all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan and are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) system." We are also unable to provide strength calculation documents for Japanese inspection purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold for "track, private property, or off-road use only," and installation and usage are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents of your order immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be cases of shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for shipping-damaged items, defective products, or incorrect items if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please also note that for products sold through us, warranty support will be provided "exclusively through us." We do not coordinate with other domestic Japanese companies or distributors.
