Chase Bays Power Steering Cooler Upgrade Kit - BMW E36 & E46
The Chase Bays Power Steering Kit for BMW E36 and E46 is designed to eliminate common factory power steering leaks, fluid spills, and overheating issues while improving aesthetics, durability, and stealth. This cooler upgrade kit includes everything needed to add a cooler to a PS kit that is not equipped with one. This replaces the single low-pressure 6AN line from the rack to the reservoir with two low-pressure 6AN lines: one from the rack to the cooler, and one from the cooler to the reservoir.
Every Chase Bays Inline Heat Sink Cooler features all-aluminum construction and is black-anodized for a durable, stealth finish. Compact yet effective, users have observed temperature drops of 20°F with this cooler.
This kit includes a mounting bracket to attach the cooler to existing rack mounting bolts. These bolts must be replaced with M10 bolts that are 5mm longer than the OE bolts to accommodate the thickness of the bracket (75mm long if using the stock subframe). This hardware is not included because some people already have longer bolts or bolts with different thread pitches for use with aftermarket subframes.

If you order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of settlement. An estimate of shipping costs is calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself plenty of time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm the delivery date. All products are transported by air; they are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Compliance with Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
Please note that all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. They are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents for such purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "circuit use, private land, or off-road use," and installation and use are at your own risk.

Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or products. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges for damaged items, defective products, or incorrect items if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please note that for products sold through our company, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other domestic Japanese companies or agencies.
