Every BC camshaft profile is prototyped and dyno-tested to prove horsepower results before being released for mass production. Brian Crower, Inc. passes the cost savings on to the end user by grinding cores in high volume. Quality at an affordable price. Every BC cam is checked with high-speed measuring gauges with sub-micron precision. The Adcole camshaft measurement system uses individual measuring heads for each cam journal and cam lobe, capturing data points every 1/10th of a degree—3,600 points per revolution—with a resolution of 0.01 microns. This model, which measures camshafts for profile errors and chatter marks, can measure 200 parts per hour.
