Every BC camshaft profile is prototyped and dyno-tested to prove horsepower results before being released into production. Brian Crower, Inc. passes the cost savings on to the end-user by grinding cores in mass quantities. Quality at an affordable price. Every BC cam is checked on a high-speed measurement gauge with sub-micron precision. The Adcole camshaft measurement system uses individual measurement heads for each cam journal and cam lobe, taking one data point every 1/10 of a degree, or 3,600 data points per revolution, with a resolution of 0.01 microns. This model, which measures camshafts for profile errors and chatter marks, can measure 200 parts per hour.
