They say that to be successful, you must identify a need and satisfy it. In the early 1970s, racing enthusiast Gary Holzapfel realized that many of his friends' broken engines were caused by fastener failure. At the time, there were no commercially available studs or bolts that could meet this challenge. So, utilizing his years of experience manufacturing fasteners for a major aerospace subcontractor, Mr. Holzapfel founded ARP (Automotive Racing Products). In the years since, the company has grown from what was literally a backyard garage operation into a highly diversified manufacturer with seven entities in Southern California totaling over 200,000 square feet. These include forging, heat treating, machining, quality control finishing, and packaging/warehousing facilities in Santa Paula and Ventura, California.

At the Shaftoya shopping site, we pay the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so there will be no additional charges other than the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Compatibility Check
Our entire product database is based on North American vehicle models (USDM). Please confirm whether or not these products are compatible with Japanese vehicle models (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure if a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to check for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if items are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model via the tabs on our top page, this does not necessarily mean they are compatible with Japanese vehicle models without modification.

○ Regarding Delivery
Shipping costs are paid at the time of settlement. An estimate for shipping costs will be calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the actual shipping cost may occasionally differ significantly from the amount calculated automatically. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself plenty of time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to check the delivery time. Note that all products are transported by air. They are never shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
All products we handle are basically designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System" (Shaken), and we cannot provide strength evaluation documents for this system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be delivery damage to the packaging boxes or the products themselves. Please understand that for products with delivery damage, defective products, or products different from what you ordered, we will only handle returns, refunds, or exchanges if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, for products sold through our company, all warranty-related matters will be handled "exclusively through our company." Please note that we do not handle matters through other companies or distributors based in Japan.
