It is said that to succeed, you must identify a need and meet it. In the early 1970s, racing enthusiast Gary Holzapfel noticed that many of his friends' blown engines were caused by fastener failure. At the time, there were no commercially available studs or bolts that could address this challenge. So, utilizing his years of experience manufacturing fasteners for a major aerospace subcontractor, Holzapfel founded ARP (Automotive Racing Products). In the years that followed, the company grew from what was literally a backyard garage operation into a highly diversified manufacturer with seven entities in Southern California, totaling over 200,000 square feet. These include forging, heat treating, machining, quality control finishing, and packaging/warehousing facilities in Santa Paula and Ventura, California.

At Shaftoya shopping site, we pay the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so there are no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇 Confirmation of Fitment
All product databases are based on North American vehicles (USDM). Please confirm whether or not the product can be installed on a Japanese vehicle (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure if the listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If you place an order without confirming fitment, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model in the tabs on our top page, this does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.
All products have been translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are automatically calculated when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping amount and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please order with enough time. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported via air freight. They are not shipped via sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Basically, all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we cannot provide strength calculation sheets or similar documentation for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents of your order immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside of Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packing boxes or the products themselves. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges for items with shipping damage, defective products, or items different from what was ordered if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, for products sold through us, we will provide warranty-related support "only through our company." Please note that we do not handle support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
