Designed to mount neatly to most vehicles, these self-standing telescopic awnings attach to the side of most roof racks or roof bars and are conveniently stored for immediate use upon arrival. Specifically engineered for harsh backcountry conditions, the awnings feature anodized height-adjustable telescopic legs, hook-and-loop ties to secure the roof, and are all constructed from heavy-duty reinforced aluminum extrusions, protected from the elements within a heavy-duty nylon-reinforced PVC bag. They are manufactured from tough PU-coated 300gsm poly/cotton ripstop canvas, which is fully waterproof and UVP 50+ rated. ARB awnings are available in three excellent sizes and accommodate mounting points up to 6.9ft (approx. 2.1m) high. (Length refers to the distance from the vehicle.) Included are pegs and guy ropes to secure the legs, stainless steel mounting nuts and bolts, and detailed instructions.
