Developed and tested in the harsh Australian environment, these large-bore bypass shock absorbers with remote reservoirs can be installed without vehicle modifications. They provide both a comfortable ride on city streets and extensive end-zone damping for superior chassis control and handling off-road. Damping performance can be easily adjusted across a wide range for both rebound and compression, allowing for custom tuning to match your vehicle setup and driving conditions. The body, reservoir, and components are crafted from 6061 T6 aluminum with a Type 3, 40-micron hard-anodized finish, ensuring excellent heat dissipation, corrosion resistance, and durability against stone chips. Designed, developed, and tested by ARB’s Old Man Emu ride engineering team, every BP-51 shock absorber is manufactured in-house at ARB. To achieve this, significant investment has been made in state-of-the-art machinery to maintain complete control over the manufacturing process, ensuring the highest standards of quality.
