Uses 20ft (approx. 6m) of double-insulated 8-gauge (6mm) auto cable, pre-fitted with an inline fuse and eyelets (8mm, 5/16") for quick attachment to the battery terminals. The kit includes two 1/4" side-entry quick-connect terminals and insulators. These terminals are supplied separately for assembly at the installer's discretion, allowing the cable to be trimmed to the appropriate length (for soldering during installation) to minimize voltage drop and provide optimal conditions for the fridge. The rear terminals of the socket are marked "+" and "-" for correct connector attachment. This kit is a complete solution, including the ARB screw-type surface mount socket kit.
