The ARB BASE Rack mounting kit is specifically designed for the Ford Ranger, utilizing a proven mounting method to secure the roof rack as close to the vehicle as possible. It includes a wind deflector and allows for the retention of the factory rear antenna. The blade brackets, designed exclusively for the BASE Rack, are compatible with 41 x 45-inch (approx. 104.1 x 114.3 cm, Part No. 1770060) and 49 x 51-inch (approx. 124.5 x 129.5 cm, Part No. 1770070) BASE Racks. Featuring dovetail extrusions on both the internal beams and all outer edges, the BASE Rack offers limitless mounting and configuration options. Adding, removing, or repositioning accessories and roof loads is quick and easy thanks to the BASE Rack's dovetail system, allowing for the attachment and detachment of individual items without disturbing the rest of the load. Furthermore, unlike traditional roof rack channels, the BASE Rack's dovetail extrusion does not accumulate dust or debris. Each BASE Rack accessory or mount is secured to the rack with a simple clamp mount, accommodating even large hardware such as Hi-Lift™ jack mounts, rollers, recovery boards, and specialized BASE Rack light bars.
