AEM 96-00 Civic CX DX & LX Red Short Ram Intake

The AEM 22-413R Performance Short Ram Air Intake System is designed to provide an affordable and easy way to increase engine horsepower and torque. This AEM air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. The system is designed, tuned, and dyno-tested to fit specific Honda Civic CX, DX, and LX models. Air is drawn through a large AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for superior airflow, filtration, and performance. The engine sound also becomes richer and more aggressive during acceleration, allowing you to hear and feel the power increase. The intake tube is made of mandrel-bent aluminum with a durable red powder-coat finish. This air intake system is designed to accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices, including engine breather hoses and vacuum lines. The conical AEM Dryflow air filter is made of oil-free synthetic filter media and can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is required (depending on driving conditions). The air intake system can be installed easily with common tools and comes with AEM's Lifetime Limited Warranty. AEM air intakes may not be legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emissions standards, while others are 50-state legal. Please note that if you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to fitment issues.
Furthermore, please be aware that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model using the tabs on our top page, this does not necessarily guarantee that they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.

Essentially, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international delivery takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow sufficient time for your order. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm the delivery time. Please note that all products are transported via air freight; we do not use sea freight.

○ Regarding Compliance with Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
Please note that all products we handle are essentially designed and manufactured outside of Japan. They are not adapted to the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System (Shaken)," and we are unable to provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.

○ Regarding Warranty
Please inspect the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there is a possibility of shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for products with shipping damage, defects, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt. Additionally, for products sold through us, please understand that all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
