PRL Motorsports oiled filters utilize a dual-layer woven cotton with deep, high-density pleats to increase filtration surface area by 10-15%, allowing for increased airflow into the combustion chamber. Superior filtration performance is also maintained. This specially engineered cotton filter captures particles as small as 5 microns. Each filter is encased in a stainless steel mesh, which is dent-resistant and provides the strength that has proven the PRL Motorsports air filter can withstand the harshest conditions.
Each filter is manufactured using a four-stage low-pressure injection molding process that bonds the rubber base to the internal components. Unlike other manufacturing methods that can block up to 25% of airflow, this process virtually eliminates rubber leaching, maximizing both airflow and aesthetics. Our flexible rubber base ensures a consistent airtight seal, absorbs vibrations, and withstands millions of thermal cycles.
The specially formulated, lightweight filter lubricant is designed to be sensor-friendly and creates a positive (+) magnetic charge—an ionic bond—with the filter's stainless steel mesh. This positive charge prevents negatively (-) charged dust particles from entering the filter, causing them to adhere to the stainless steel mesh instead. This keeps the cotton clean, allowing for maximum airflow.

〇Confirmation of fitment
Since our entire product database is based on North American (USDM) vehicles, please confirm whether or not the product can be installed on a Japanese (JDM) vehicle before ordering. (Please feel free to contact us if you are unsure whether a listed product fits your vehicle. Our support team will be happy to check for you.)
We cannot accept returns due to incompatibility if you place an order without confirming fitment.
Please note that even if a product is sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model using the tabs on our top page, this does not necessarily mean it will fit a Japanese model vehicle without modification.

○Regarding shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the actual shipping cost may occasionally differ significantly from the amount automatically calculated. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping within Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please order with enough time to spare. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported by air. They are never shipped by sea freight.
○Regarding Japanese vehicle inspection (Shaken) compliance
The products we handle are basically all designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please understand that they do not conform to the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for these purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○Regarding warranty
Please check the contents of your order as soon as it arrives. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be damage to the packaging or the product due to shipping. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges for items with shipping damage, defective products, or incorrect items if contacted within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that for products sold through us, we only provide warranty support "exclusively through our company." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
