Built with the daily-driven sports car in mind, our Pro-ST shock absorbers are shorter than factory units, allowing the vehicle to be lowered by approximately 3 inches while maintaining full shock travel. This is combined with 12-way damping adjustability and stiffer springs, allowing you to tune to the optimal setting for your driving environment. The large 52mm seamless carbon steel monotube shock body increases strength and provides space for larger hydraulic pistons and valves, more shock oil, and an enlarged nitrogen chamber. All these upgrades result in significantly improved compression and rebound response, much better handling characteristics, and extreme durability even under the harshest conditions. The exterior of the shock body is threaded along its entire length to accommodate the spring preload adjustment collar and the internally threaded lower shock mount and collar. This allows for independent adjustment of ride height and spring preload, enabling you to adjust the weight at each corner for an optimal 4-wheel corner balance without sacrificing ride quality. Furthermore, the shock body and threads are protected from the elements by gold zinc electroplating, and the lower shock mounts are powder-coated. After rigorous testing, we chose to install linear rate springs rather than progressive ones. Featuring spring rates of 10kg/mm front and 8kg/mm rear, linear springs provide more stable consistency under all different weight loads during cornering and when hitting bumps. This results in the most predictable vehicle feedback in all driving situations. Each 2.5-inch spring is made of the highest quality AE9254V chrome vanadium and is specifically forged to work in tandem with the oil-nitrogen-filled struts, providing the maximum balance of street and track performance. Each Pro-ST coilover has a machined, knurled knob on the top of the shock shaft. The 12-way adjustment variation gives you complete control over the vehicle's ride and handling. This allows for adjustments tailored for street or circuit use, and everything in between, in seconds without removing the wheels. The strength of a suspension system is determined by its mounts to the chassis. Therefore, every Pro-ST kit includes aluminum, CNC-machined, anodized top mounts for maximum strength and protection from the elements. High-quality polyurethane bushings are included to maintain precise handling and feedback while retaining a more cushioned feel for the street. Additionally, a padded spring seat on top of each spring and a nylon thrust washer on the bottom reduce friction and eliminate the noise from spring bind commonly found in many coilover systems. All products are generally shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please order with enough time to spare. ○ Regarding Japanese vehicle inspection (Shaken) compatibility
Basically, all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan.
