〇 Regarding Import Duties
At the Shaftoya shopping site, we cover the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on behalf of our customers, so there are no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Confirmation of Compatibility
Our product database is based primarily on North American vehicle specifications (USDM). Please confirm whether or not the product is compatible with Japanese market vehicles (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure if a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look it up for you.)
If an order is placed without verifying compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by year, make, and model using the tabs on our homepage, it does not guarantee that they will fit Japanese market vehicles without modification.
All products have been translated into Japanese using translation software. Due to potential ambiguities in translation, please contact us if you have any questions before placing your order.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of purchase. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your delivery address at checkout. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow ample time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm the estimated delivery time. Note that all items are shipped via air freight. They will not be shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Please be aware that all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. They are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we cannot provide documents such as strength evaluation reports for these purposes. Consequently, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on tracks, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are entirely at the customer's own risk.
○ Regarding Warranties
Please inspect the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there is a possibility that the shipping box or the product may sustain damage during transit. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for products with shipping damage, defects, or incorrect items if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that for products sold through our company, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
