〇 Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At Shaft-ya, we cover the import consumption tax incurred during customs clearance, so you will not be charged any additional fees beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇 Compatibility Check
All product databases are based on North American vehicle specifications (USDM). Please confirm whether the product is compatible with your Japanese-market vehicle (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure whether a listed product fits your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model via the tabs on our homepage, it does not guarantee that they will fit Japanese-market vehicles without modification.
All product descriptions have been translated into Japanese using translation software. As some expressions may be confusing, please contact us if you have any questions before ordering.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your delivery address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may be rare instances where the automatically calculated shipping cost differs significantly from the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you via email individually.
Essentially, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow sufficient time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all items are transported via air freight; they are never shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Compliance with Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
All products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they are not designed to comply with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we are unable to provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for these inspections. Therefore, all parts are sold for "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and you are responsible for their installation and use.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents of your order as soon as it arrives. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be instances of shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for damaged, defective, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, for products sold through our company, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." Please note that we do not coordinate with other companies or agencies located within Japan regarding warranty matters.
