The X3 M40i Eventuri intake was developed to lower intake temperatures while reducing restrictions in the turbo airflow path.
In the M40i, the intake system's proximity to the exhaust manifold causes the engine bay to heat up rapidly. Because rising temperatures reduce engine performance, a solution to minimize Intake Air Temperature (IAT) is essential. Our solution is a fully sealed intake system designed to suppress heat soak and prevent the turbo from drawing in hot air.
Furthermore, our sealed airbox features a heat shield lined with gold reflective material, effectively minimizing radiant heat transfer from the exhaust manifold. To optimize airflow, we maximized the size of the airbox and included a recess to seamlessly accommodate the strut brace.
By replacing the stock convoluted intake tube with a prepreg carbon tube, this design features a significantly larger internal diameter of 109mm (4.3 inches) and is seamlessly tapered to match the turbo inlet, ensuring unobstructed airflow. Complementing this design is a custom-made high-flow dry filter, rigorously tested for ISO-certified filtration performance and boasting a larger filtration area compared to the standard filter.

○ Regarding Compliance with Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
Products handled by our company are generally designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we are unable to provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for these requirements.
