The Cobb Tuning Turbo Blanket insulates your turbine housing, providing several benefits. It prevents the dissipation of valuable exhaust energy, which improves turbo RPM acceleration. This results in faster turbo spooling and reaching peak torque sooner. It also helps limit heat soak to adjacent components near the turbocharger.
The Cobb Tuning Turbo Blanket is designed to limit the amount of heat transferred from the turbocharger to the engine bay, and to keep high-temperature exhaust gases in the system to be expelled more quickly due to lower density. By limiting the amount of transferred heat, it extends the life of under-hood components, lowers intake temperatures, and improves vehicle response.
Constructed with a pulverized volcanic rock outer layer (rated for 1500°F direct heat / 1800°F radiant heat), and an interior made of high-temperature calcium magnesium silicate wool (rated for 1800°F direct heat / 2300°F peak heat).

- Cobb Tuning Products, LLC warrants to the original retail purchaser that all components manufactured by Cobb Tuning, or sold under the Cobb Tuning brand, will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a limited period of 12 months from the date of purchase.

○ Regarding Import Taxes
At Shaftoya Shopping Site, we pay the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so there will be no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
○ Verification of Compatibility
Our entire product database is based on North American vehicles (USDM). Please verify whether or not the item can be installed on a Japanese vehicle (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure if a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to check for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, make, and model using the tabs on our top page, it does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.
All products have been translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of settlement. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the automatically calculated shipping cost may rarely differ significantly from the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please order with enough time to spare. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Furthermore, all products are transported by air freight. They are never shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
All products we handle are basically designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they do not comply with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide documents such as strength calculation reports for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival of the product. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be damage to the packing box or the product during shipping. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or exchanges for products with shipping damage, defective products, or items different from those ordered if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please note that for products sold through our company, we only provide support regarding warranties "through our company." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
