○ Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At Shaft-ya, we cover the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on behalf of our customers; therefore, there are no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
○ Verification of Compatibility
Since our entire product database is based on North American market vehicles (USDM), please verify whether the item can be installed on a Japanese market vehicle (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure if the listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if items are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and model using the tabs on our homepage, it does not necessarily guarantee that the product will fit Japanese-model vehicles without modifications.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there are rare cases where the automatically calculated shipping fee differs significantly from the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow ample time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm the delivery time. Note that all products are transported by air freight; they are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Please be aware that all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. They are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide documents such as strength evaluation reports for this system. Consequently, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private land, or off-road," and any installation or use is at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents of your order immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside of Japan, there is a possibility of damage to the shipping box or the product itself during transit. We will only provide returns, refunds, or exchanges for products with shipping damage, defective products, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that for products sold through our company, all warranty-related matters will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located in Japan.
