Perrin Performance Reverse Lockout Lever for Subaru BRZ / Scion FR-S / Toyota 86
The PERRIN Performance Reverse Lockout Lever combines your OEM reverse lockout ring and plastic boot holder into one single part, creating a clean and simple look for your shifter. The finish on the PERRIN lockout ring matches the PERRIN Performance shift knob base, making it look like a single assembly.
Machined from billet 6061 aluminum, the PERRIN Reverse Lockout Lever is polished and black anodized to match the PERRIN shifter collar. The PERRIN reverse lockout ring uses a small bolt to secure the cable, eliminating the need to deal with the factory spring pin when removing the shift cable from the car, making future removals much easier. The factory reverse lockout link can wear out over high mileage and aggressive shifting, leading to shifter rattling. The PERRIN Reverse Lockout Lever incorporates a silicone O-ring to provide a secure fit with smooth, friction-free operation, even on worn shifters.
Installation time is approximately 2 hours for a DIY enthusiast. A professional shop should be able to complete the installation in about 1 hour. Please read the instructions and see for yourself.

Please note: This part is designed to work with all new or well-used OEM shifters. Aftermarket shifters may or may not work due to differences in tolerances. Before installing the PERRIN Reverse Lockout, please measure the outer diameter of your shifter (the part the lockout slides on). It must be less than 0.514 inches on all surfaces, otherwise the PERRIN Reverse Lockout may not slide smoothly. Also, it should not be less than 0.500 inches, or it may rattle on the shifter.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of settlement. An estimate of shipping costs is automatically calculated when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually by email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow enough time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm the delivery date. All products are transported via air freight. They are not shipped via sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Please be aware that all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. They are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide documents such as strength calculation sheets for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges if you contact us within 7 days of receipt regarding products with shipping damage, defective products, or items different from what was ordered. Please understand that for products sold through us, warranty support will be provided "only through us." Please note that we do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
