At Shafto-ya, we pay the import consumption tax incurred upon importation on your behalf, so you will not be charged any additional fees beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇 Checking Compatibility
Our entire product database is based on North American (USDM) vehicles, so please verify whether parts are compatible with Japanese (JDM) vehicles before ordering. (If you are unsure if a listed product fits your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to check for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and model using the tabs on our homepage, it does not guarantee that they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.
All product descriptions have been translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us with any questions before ordering.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Estimates for shipping can be calculated automatically by entering your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you via email separately.
In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our warehouse in the United States. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow plenty of time for your order. If you are in a hurry, please contact us to confirm lead times in advance. Note that all products are transported by air; they are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compliance
Basically, all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they do not comply with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) system," and we are unable to provide strength study documents or similar for these purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold for "use on circuits, private property, or off-road use only," and you are responsible for any installation and use at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents of your order as soon as it arrives. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be instances of shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we only provide returns, refunds, or replacement products if you contact us within 7 days of receipt regarding damaged items, defective products, or items that differ from your order. Furthermore, for products sold through us, warranty-related support will be provided "only through us." Please note that we do not offer support through other companies or agencies located within Japan.
