Stainless Cat-Back Exhaust System for 2011-2014 Subaru WRX Hatch / 2008-2014 STI Hatch
This long-awaited exhaust system utilizes a unique straight-through muffler section rather than a common chambered design, minimizing tube bends, reducing backpressure, and keeping sound output below SAE standards. Exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail are evident in every aspect of this cat-back.
Exhaust gas is directed through 3-inch diameter tubing into a central inlet on the 24-inch wide muffler section. Inside the muffler, the exhaust gas passes through a reverse Y-junction, efficiently splitting the exhaust into separate silencing chambers on each side of the canister. 2.5-inch outlets emerge symmetrically from both sides of the canister, directing the exhaust rearward through quad-polished exhaust tips. This straight-through exhaust design is highly effective at reducing exhaust backpressure, as seen in the diagram above. 304 stainless steel is used throughout the entire exhaust construction. All components are carefully TIG-welded to achieve superior appearance and strength. The four custom exhaust tips perfectly fill the factory bumper cutouts and protrude just enough to highlight the Cobb Tuning logo etched on top of each polished tip. Perfect fitment is achieved with either the Subaru factory downpipe or the Cobb Tuning 3-inch SS downpipe. ○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of settlement. An estimate for shipping costs is automatically calculated when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there are rare cases where the automatic shipping calculation differs significantly from the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please order with enough time to spare. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm the delivery date. Please note that all products are transported by air. They are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Basically, all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please understand that they do not conform to the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide documents such as strength calculation reports for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents of your order immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside of Japan, there may be shipping damage to packaging boxes or the products themselves. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for products with shipping damage, defective products, or incorrect items if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, for products sold through us, support regarding warranties will be handled "only through us." Please note that we do not handle support through other companies or agencies located within Japan.
