The Chase Bays Power Steering Kit for the Lexus IS300 is designed to eliminate common factory power steering issues—leaks, fluid spills, and overheating—while improving aesthetics, durability, and stealth. It is a 100% complete, upgraded A.N. fitting replacement for the stock reservoir and hoses, from the reservoir to the pump and rack.
At the core of this kit is the Chase Bays highly engineered triple-baffled power steering reservoir (designed to prevent aeration and spilling). An optional upgraded black aluminum heat sink cooler is available, which mounts to the upper core support (see photos) for easier installation and enhanced airflow. At Chase Bays, we use only the highest quality components available. Our reservoirs are constructed from 6061 aluminum, finished in a black anodized coating, and feature a laser-etched cap.
Countless hours of R&D went into this modern power steering reservoir. It isn't as simple as just welding two fittings onto a fluid container and calling it a day; it is far more complex. The smaller fitting on the reservoir is the fluid return from the rack. It can be sent back at pressures up to 120psi. When that hits the fluid in the reservoir, it can cause extreme foaming and aeration if not properly slowed down and directed. The higher the steering input and RPMs of the car, the higher that pressure becomes. This is also a common cause of fluid spilling from the cap during spirited driving. When this happens, most people assume the fluid is boiling, but more often than not, it is simply turbulence.
In the photos of the reservoir, you will see a "chimney" inside; there is a multi-layer design within this chimney. Chase Bays won't reveal all our secrets, but rest assured, you will not experience aeration or spilling issues. Between track testing and computational fluid dynamics, we were able to slow the fluid velocity down from 120 psi to 12 psi within just 2 inches of movement. The problem is twofold, but this is the solution.
Because power steering is a looped hydraulic system, it must be vented. The cap has its own unique baffle design to prevent fluid from being pushed out through the vent. Go to any road race, drift, or rally event and look at every factory (and most aftermarket) power steering reservoir; by the end of the day, you will see fluid spills all over them. Our goal was to create a leak-free reservoir when 99 out of 100 others fail. Chase Bays is proud to say: that goal has been achieved.

All products are generally shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow sufficient time for delivery. If you need your order urgently, please contact us for a delivery estimate in advance. Note that all products are transported by air; sea freight is not used.
〇 Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
All products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we cannot provide structural analysis reports for such purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "circuit use, private property, or off-road use," and installation and usage are at the customer's own risk.

Please inspect your items immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally, there may be shipping damage to packaging boxes or the products themselves. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for shipping-damaged items, defective products, or items different from what was ordered if contacted within 7 days of receipt.
