BC high-performance camshafts are ground on state-of-the-art CNC cam grinders, guaranteeing accuracy and tolerances within 0.02 mm. All BC camshaft profiles are prototyped and dyno-tested to prove horsepower results before being put into mass production. Brian Crower, Inc. is able to pass cost savings on to the end user by grinding cores in high volume. Quality at an affordable price. All BC cams are checked with sub-micron precision high-speed measuring gauges. The Adcole camshaft measurement system uses individual measuring heads for each cam journal and cam lobe, capturing data points every 1/10th of a degree—3,600 data points per revolution—with 0.01-micron resolution. This model, which measures camshafts for lift errors and chatter marks, can measure 200 parts per hour.
