They provide a comfortable ride on city streets while offering sufficient end-zone damping for superior chassis control and handling off-road. Damping performance can be easily adjusted for both rebound and compression, allowing for significant changes to ride quality and custom tuning to suit specific conditions or vehicle setups. The body, reservoir, and components are all crafted from 6061 T6 aluminum and finished with a Type 3 40-micron hard-anodized coating, ensuring exceptional heat dissipation, corrosion resistance, and protection against stone damage. Designed, developed, and tested by ARB’s Old Man Emu ride engineering team, all BP-51 shock absorbers are manufactured in-house by ARB.
