Technical Notes:
It is well known that Acura’s turbocharged TLX is highly susceptible to heat soak, especially when retaining the factory intercooler. Excessive heat absorption increases the risk of detonation and causes significant power loss due to high charge air and cylinder temperatures. These issues become even more prevalent with spirited driving or increased power output. The PRL Motorsports Intercooler Upgrade lowers charge air temperatures while increasing potential airflow with a dense 28" x 5" x 6.375" bar-and-plate core rated for 650+ HP. Our intercooler core increases surface area by 54% and internal flow by 91% for optimal cooling and airflow. Billet aluminum end tanks maximize efficiency while providing a smooth, flowing look. This intercooler utilizes factory mounting points with billet end tanks to maintain consistency with most of the PRL product line; no cutting, fabrication, or trimming is required.

Our entire product database is based on North American vehicles (USDM). Please confirm whether or not parts can be installed on Japanese vehicles (JDM) before ordering. (If you are unsure if a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will investigate for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, make, and model in the tabs on our top page, this does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of payment. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself enough time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported via air freight; they are not shipped via sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
All products we handle are basically designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they do not comply with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for "circuit, private property, or off-road use" purposes; installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents of your order immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges if you contact us within 7 days of receipt regarding damaged, defective, or incorrect items. Please also note that for products sold through us, warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
