The Sikky BMW E30 Steering Shaft Assembly is a high-quality, direct-replacement steering shaft designed to increase precision and provide sharper steering response. During the design of this steering shaft assembly, we removed the rag joint used in the OEM shaft. This eliminates the notoriously sloppy and unresponsive feel of the OEM steering. By using precision CNC components, you achieve an extremely rigid and responsive feel.
This is an excellent upgrade for an OEM E30 setup, or the perfect steering shaft for an LS-swapped E30 that requires additional clearance. Includes two joints, a shaft, and hardware.

Special Notes:
Please measure the diameter of your steering column and count the splines before ordering. BMW used several different steering columns on E30 and E36 models worldwide, and it has been found that some may not fit or are not the same as the ones this steering shaft kit was designed for. In some cases, even if the spline count and diameter are correct, there may be a dimple on the end of the steering column before the splines begin, which may need to be trimmed to blunt the end. The BMW steering column is also length-adjustable. In some cases, the end of the steering column will be close to the rack. By loosening the lock nut near the steering wheel end of the rack, you can adjust the length of the lower end of the column (rack side) back and forth to match the length of the Sikky steering shaft.

If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of settlement. An estimate for shipping costs is automatically calculated when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping within Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please order with enough time to spare. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm the delivery date. Note that all products are transported by air; they are never shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
All products we handle are basically designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please understand that they do not comply with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide documents such as strength calculation reports for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
