Introducing Billet 4140 Chromoly Steel Shift Forks for 3rd and 4th Gear
A replacement for the factory shift forks known for being prone to breakage.
Crafted from the highest quality materials and manufactured to strict tolerance standards, we believe our shift forks are the best available. Unlike standard forks with only two contact points, these feature nearly 180 degrees of surface contact area with the shift sleeve. This design reduces load and wear on the shift fork, making 3rd and 4th gear shifts easier and more consistent.
To our knowledge, no other manufacturer offers chromoly billet shift forks for these transmissions. Furthermore, our shift forks are nitrided for an enhanced surface finish, likely lasting a lifetime.
Fits RB25DET, RB26DETT (including RB30), and VG30 transmissions (1985 to 2001)
- CNC construction
- Drop-in fitment
- 4140 chromoly billet steel
- Nitrided
- Maximum contact area with the shift sleeve due to approximately 180-degree contact area
- Strict tolerances for improved performance
A heat treatment process that diffuses nitrogen into the surface of a metal to create a case-hardened surface. These processes are most commonly used for low-carbon, low-alloy steels. They are also used for medium-carbon, high-carbon steel, titanium, aluminum, and molybdenum.
What are the benefits of the optional Isotropic Superfinishing?
It is a surface finishing process that creates a highly smooth surface with minimal roughness. It helps extend the life of steel chromoly shift forks and allows them to operate more smoothly.
By creating an extremely smooth surface, it reduces friction between the shift fork and other components. This decreases wear and extends the service life of the shift fork.
