The PERRIN dual-stage open-cell foam filter is made of reticulated polyurethane foam designed to minimize air restriction. The filter element is sprayed with a special oil that adheres to the foam, giving the polymer matrix a tackiness that traps dirt. Foam filters do not block dirt; they capture all of it while minimizing drops in airflow. What does this mean for you? More dirt trapped, increased airflow, and improved horsepower.
Cleaning is simple. Just spray it with an oil filter cleaner, let it sit on the filter element for a few minutes, and wash away the cleaner and dirt. Once the filter is dry, spray it with fresh oil, and it is ready to go.

〇 Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At the Shaftoya shopping site, we pay the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so there are no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Checking Compatibility
All product databases are based on North American vehicles (USDM). Please confirm whether or not they can be installed on Japanese vehicles (JDM) before ordering. (If you are unsure if a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model using the tabs on our top page, this does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.
All products have been translated into Japanese using translation software. There may be confusing expressions, so please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of payment. Estimates for shipping costs are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please order with time to spare. If you are in a hurry, please contact us to check the delivery time in advance. All products are shipped via air freight. They are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Compliance with Japanese Vehicle Inspections
Basically, all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents for Japanese inspection purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," so please install and use them at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to packaging boxes or products. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges for items with shipping damage, defective products, or products different from what was ordered if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please note that for products sold through us, we will provide warranty support "only through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
