Upgrade your off-road lighting with the Baja Designs XL40 (A/C) LED headlight kit. Specifically designed for 2013-2016 KTM XC, XC-W, and SX models, this kit includes a regulator/rectifier to convert your bike's A/C power to D/C, allowing for simple plug-and-play installation to the factory harness. Inspired by the performance of the XL80, the XL40 delivers 5,224 lumens of trail-proven brightness to a wider range of bikes. Engineered for dirt bikes with low-output OEM stators, it draws only 43.5W, providing a powerful upgrade without significant power consumption.
Paired with our signature XL Trail lens, the XL40 produces a vertical and horizontal beam pattern with excellent near-field and peripheral visibility. The Trail lens redistributes the intensity of the center beam to eliminate intense hot spots, improving visibility for vertical changes, steep elevation changes, and tight corners. The result is a smooth, even light spread that provides confidence on the most challenging terrain.
This kit replaces the stock XC-W headlight and includes a KTM-specific faceplate for precise fitment and ease of installation. Note: XC/SX owners require an XC-W headlight shell.

Our entire product database is based on North American vehicle specifications (USDM). Please confirm whether the product is compatible with Japanese specification (JDM) vehicles before ordering. (If you are unsure if a listed product fits your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look it up for you.)
If you order without verifying compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if items are sorted by selecting the year, make, and model on our top page, it does not necessarily guarantee a direct, bolt-on fit for Japanese model vehicles.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the actual shipping cost may significantly differ from the automated calculation in rare cases. In such instances, we will contact you via email individually.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic Japanese shipping, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow sufficient time when ordering. If you are in a rush, please inquire about lead times beforehand. Please note that all products are transported by air; sea freight is not used.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection Compliance
Basically, all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide documents such as strength calculation reports for Japanese inspection purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "circuit, private property, or off-road use only," and installation and usage are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranties
Please check the contents of your order immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the products themselves. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for damaged items, defective products, or incorrect items if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that for products sold through us, warranty-related support will be provided "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
