The Sikky RHD BMW E30 Steering Shaft Assembly is a high-quality, direct-replacement steering shaft that provides increased precision and sharper steering response. When designing this steering shaft assembly, we eliminated the rag joint used on the OEM shaft. This eliminates the notorious sloppy and unresponsive feel of the OEM steering. By using precision CNC components, you get an extremely rigid and responsive feel.
This is an excellent upgrade for an OEM E30 setup, or the perfect steering shaft for an LS-swapped E30 that requires additional clearance. Includes 2 joints, shaft, and hardware.

Special Notes:
Before ordering, please measure the diameter of your steering column and count the splines. BMW used several different steering columns on the E30 and E36 worldwide, and we have found that some may not be compatible or are not the same as those this steering shaft kit was designed for. In some cases, even if the spline count and diameter are correct, there may be a dimple on the end of the steering column before the splines begin, which will need to be trimmed to blunt the end. The BMW steering column is also adjustable in length. In some cases, the end of the steering column will be close to the rack. By loosening the lock nut near the steering wheel end of the rack, you can adjust the length of the lower end of the column (rack side) back and forth to match the length of the Sikky steering shaft.

Since all of our product databases are based on North American vehicles (USDM), please confirm whether or not parts can be installed on Japanese vehicles (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure whether a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will look into it for you.)
If you order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if items are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model in the tabs on our homepage, it does not necessarily mean they are compatible with Japanese model vehicles without modification.

〇 Regarding Delivery
Shipping costs are paid at the time of payment. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow plenty of time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm the delivery date. Note that all products are transported by air. They are not shipped by sea.
〇 Regarding Compliance with Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
The products we handle are basically all designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we cannot provide strength evaluation documents or similar paperwork for these standards. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
