Before Ordering
○ About Import Consumption Tax
At Shafto-Ya Shopping Site, we cover the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so you will not be charged any additional fees beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
○ Checking Compatibility
All product database information is based on North American vehicles (USDM); please verify compatibility with Japanese vehicles (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure if a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if items are sorted by year, make, and model using the tabs on our homepage, it does not guarantee that they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.
All products have been translated into Japanese using translation software. Due to potentially confusing phrasing, please contact us if you have any questions before ordering.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are automatically calculated when you enter your delivery address on the checkout page. For large items like body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our warehouse in the United States. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow ample time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all items are transported via air freight. No shipments are made via sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Please note that all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. They are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we are unable to provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for these standards. Therefore, all parts are sold for "circuit, private property, or off-road use only," and their installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranties
Please check the contents of your order as soon as it arrives. Because all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to packaging or products. We will provide returns, refunds, or replacements only if you contact us within 7 days of receipt regarding products with shipping damage, defects, or incorrect items. Please understand that for products sold through us, warranty support is handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors based in Japan.
