The intake for the Honda FK8 Type R is the result of exhaustive design iterations through dyno testing and flow analysis. This intake was developed to achieve two goals: 1) to keep intake air temperatures (IAT) low, and 2) to alleviate restrictions in the turbo intake path. The first goal was achieved by enclosing the filter in a carbon fiber airbox and utilizing the OEM seal against the hood to block heat soak from the engine. Since the intake is positioned directly behind the radiator, it is critical that the filter is not exposed, as exposure would lead to power loss due to high IATs. The second goal was achieved by removing the flexible tubing and optimizing the intake path by connecting a venturi stack directly to the filter. Furthermore, a second inlet was added to the airbox, featuring a scoop that draws air from inside the fender. This nearly doubles the cross-sectional area available for the turbocharger to draw air compared to the single inlet of the stock system. Our carbon fiber airbox enclosure is designed to maximize the available volume and block all heat sources. As a result, the performance gains and aesthetics of the FK8 Type R reach the highest industry standards.

If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of settlement. An estimate of shipping costs is calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the automatically calculated shipping cost may rarely differ significantly from the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our warehouse in the United States. Unlike domestic shipping within Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself plenty of time when placing your order. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported by air freight; they are never shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
In principle, all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we are unable to provide documents such as strength calculation reports for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents of your order immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there is a possibility of shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement products if you contact us within 7 days of receipt regarding damaged, defective, or incorrect items.
