It doesn't take long for the factory EcoBoost Mustang intercooler to suffer from severe heat soak. This begins a vicious cycle of rising intake temperatures and power loss.
The Cobb Tuning Front Mount Intercooler upgrade cools the charged air, allowing the EcoBoost Mustang to increase and maintain its potential power output. While tuning is not mandatory, significant power gains will only be experienced if a tune is applied. The simplest tuning solution is found in the Accessport Stage 2 Off-The-Shelf map. Please check the map notes for details on power gains and modification requirements.
The Cobb Tuning EcoBoost Mustang Intercooler upgrade is the easiest way to significantly increase power when paired with tuning from an Accessport. Even in stock form, the factory front mount intercooler can be overwhelmed by heat soak. Computational Fluid Dynamics analysis during the R&D process introduced air-diverting fins to the end tanks, allowing the entire larger core to be utilized. With the Cobb Tuning Front Mount Intercooler installed, your EcoBoost Mustang comes alive with newfound cooler intake air. This upgrade requires no modification to the vehicle and allows for a simple installation that is compatible with the factory MAP sensor.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow plenty of time for your order. If you are in a hurry, please contact us to check lead times in advance. All products are transported via air freight. They are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Please note that all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. They are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for these standards. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, packaging and products may sustain shipping damage. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement items if you contact us within 7 days of receipt regarding items with shipping damage, defective products, or items different from what you ordered. Please note that for products sold through us, warranty-related support will be provided "only through us." Support through other domestic Japanese companies or agencies is not available.
