BC high performance camshafts are ground on state-of-the-art CNC cam grinders, guaranteed to a tolerance within 0.02mm. Every BC camshaft profile is prototyped and dyno tested for proven horsepower results before going into mass production. By grinding cores in high volume, Brian Crower, Inc. is able to pass the cost savings on to the end user. Quality at an affordable price. All BC cams are checked with high speed measuring gauges to sub-micron accuracy. The Adcole camshaft measuring system uses individual measuring heads for each cam journal and cam lobe, capturing one data point every 1/10th of a degree, or 3,600 data points per revolution, with a resolution of 0.01 microns. This model, which measures camshafts for lift error and chatter mark detection, can measure 200 parts per hour.
