Developed and extensively tested under Australia’s harshest conditions, these large-bore, position-sensitive bypass shock absorbers with remote reservoirs are bolt-on compatible without the need for vehicle modifications. They provide a comfortable ride for city driving while significantly increasing end-zone damping for off-road use, resulting in superior chassis control and handling. Damping performance is easily adjustable across a wide range of rebound and compression settings, offering significant improvements to vehicle ride quality and allowing for custom tuning to suit specific conditions or vehicle setups. The body, reservoir, and components are all manufactured from 6061 T6 aluminum, featuring a Type 3 40-micron hard-anodized finish for exceptional heat dissipation, corrosion resistance, and protection against stone damage. Designed, developed, and tested by ARB's Old Man Emu ride engineering team, all BP-51 shock absorbers are manufactured in-house at ARB.
