With the press of a switch, the Air Locker engages instantly, and its ultra-robust design allows it to be activated at any speed, enabling it to tackle the most demanding terrain. The advantage of the Air Locker lies in its pneumatically operated locking system inside the differential. When activated, the Air Locker prevents the internal differential gears from rotating, stopping the axle shafts from spinning independently of each other. By directly coupling both wheels to the rotation of the ring gear, maximum traction is maintained at all times. When unlocked, it functions as a conventional open differential. Vehicles equipped with an Air Locker can be driven more slowly, safely, and in a controlled manner, significantly reducing the risk of vehicle damage and environmental impact.
