PRL Motorsports Air Filter Recharge Oil & Cleaner Kit (Maintenance Kit)

Developed exclusively for PRL Motorsports intake kits, this filter oil creates a magnetic charge (ionic bond) on the filter's stainless steel mesh while minimizing impact on vehicle sensors.
This positive charge attracts negatively charged fine dust particles as small as 5 microns, trapping them on the stainless steel mesh. This reduces dirt accumulation on the cotton element, maintaining maximum intake airflow.
Maintenance
PRL Motorsports recommends visually inspecting the filter at every oil change to ensure the screen (mesh) remains visible.
Clean the air filter when the screen is no longer visible, or at least every 48,000 km (30,000 miles), whichever comes first.
Cleaning should be performed more frequently if the vehicle is operated in dusty or off-road environments.
Filter Cleaning & Re-oiling Procedure

Pre-cleaning:
Gently tap the filter or use compressed air to remove excess debris. -
Apply Cleaner:
Spray the dedicated cleaner over the entire filter and allow it to penetrate for approximately 15 minutes. -
Rinse:
Using lukewarm water, rinse from the clean side of the filter toward the dirty side to wash away the debris. -
Dry:
Allow the filter to air dry naturally. Avoid heat drying with a hair dryer or similar, as this may cause the cotton to shrink. -
Apply Filter Oil:
Apply one spray of dedicated filter oil for every 13 cm² of filter surface area. Be careful not to over-oil.

○ Compatibility Verification
Our entire product database is based on North American vehicle specifications (USDM). Please confirm compatibility with Japanese domestic market (JDM) vehicles before ordering. (If you are unsure whether a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to investigate for you.)
We cannot accept returns due to incompatibility if an order is placed without prior verification.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and model using the tabs on our top page, this does not guarantee a direct fit for Japanese market vehicles without modification.
All products have been translated into Japanese using software. There may be confusing expressions, so please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping fee and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Essentially, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic Japanese shipping, international delivery takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow sufficient time for your order. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery timelines. Note that all items are shipped via air freight; we do not use sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
All products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we are unable to provide strength calculation sheets or similar documentation for this purpose. Therefore, all parts are sold for "use on tracks, private property, or off-road," and installation and usage are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please inspect the contents immediately upon delivery. As all products are shipped internationally, there may be instances of damage to packaging or products during transit. We will provide returns, refunds, or exchanges only if you contact us within 7 days of receipt regarding damaged, defective, or incorrect items. Please understand that for products sold through us, warranty support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors based within Japan.
