〇 Regarding Import Duties and Taxes
At Shaft-Ya, we pay for import duties and taxes on your behalf at the time of import, so you will not be charged any additional fees beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Compatibility Confirmation
Our entire product database is based on North American (USDM) vehicles, so please confirm compatibility with Japanese (JDM) vehicles before placing your order. (If you are unsure if a listed product will fit your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if items are filtered by year, make, and model using the tabs on our homepage, it does not necessarily guarantee a direct fit for Japanese market vehicles without modification.
All product descriptions have been translated into Japanese using translation software. Due to potential confusing phrasing, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping quotes are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the actual shipping cost may occasionally differ significantly from the automated calculation. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Essentially, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping within Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow ample time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us beforehand to verify delivery times. All items are shipped via air freight; they are not shipped via sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compliance
All products we handle are fundamentally designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that these products are not compliant with "Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) standards," and we are unable to provide strength calculation reports or similar documentation for this purpose. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road use only," and any installation and use is at the user's own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents of your order immediately upon arrival. As all items are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there is a possibility of shipping damage to the packaging or the products themselves. We will only accept returns, provide refunds, or send replacements for damaged, defective, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that for products sold through our company, warranty support will be provided "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
