2000-2009 Honda S2000 Billet Clutch Master Cylinder Reservoir by K-Tuned
The K-Tuned CMC reservoir is a direct replacement for the S2000 CMC. It is machined from 6061 aluminum and provides the same volume as the OEM unit. Dual O-ring seals ensure there is no possibility of leaks. Once the reservoir is positioned, it is secured in place with a set screw. The diaphragm allows for fluid movement without the air interacting with the brake fluid. This is extremely important as brake fluid is hygroscopic (absorbs moisture from the air), which can cause premature clutch fatigue and overheating.
This can be changed without bleeding the clutch system. First, place an absorbent towel or rag under the CMC. Ensure brake fluid does not come into contact with the paint. You can slowly suck the fluid out of the reservoir using a syringe or an absorbent towel. Once the brake fluid has been sufficiently reduced, remove the stock reservoir. Apply a small amount of lubricant/oil to the O-ring before installing. Slowly push the new reservoir into the CMC, being careful not to tilt or tear the O-ring. Once installed, use the set screw to secure the CMC in place.

Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself plenty of time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported by air freight. They are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Basically, all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they do not comply with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide documents such as strength calculation sheets for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off public roads," and please install and use them at your own risk.
