Cobb Tuning Universal LF Bypass Valve
This is a "universal" style valve. While originally designed for use with the Cobb Tuning 715500 Front Mount Intercooler Kit for the 2008-2014 Subaru STI, it can also be used in other custom configurations that require a 1-inch bypass valve inlet.
The Cobb Tuning LF Bypass Valve is a compact, lightweight bypass valve capable of holding extremely high boost pressures without leaking. The updated design reduces control volume by 30%, allowing for very rapid venting when actuated. Innovative engineering and precision manufacturing have resulted in a compact package that fits within the confines of tight engine bays.
Due to the lighter weight of the components, the moving parts of the LF Bypass Valve have lower inertia and can respond faster than the heavier components of other bypass valves. This updated design uses a banjo-fitting vacuum port that allows for 360-degree adjustment of the hose routing. This makes installation easier than NPT ports and results in fewer potential leak points.
This new design also includes a piston O-ring seal that is twice the diameter of the older design, providing enhanced seal compression and reduced wear. The updated spring and seal design eliminates the need for spring seat adjustment, while increasing clamping force at peak boost by 60% and maintaining similar operation at idle and transient loads.

- Cobb Tuning Products, LLC warrants to the original retail purchaser that all components manufactured by Cobb Tuning, or sold under the Cobb Tuning brand by an authorized Cobb Tuning dealer, will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.

If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of settlement. An estimate for shipping costs is calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the actual shipping cost may significantly differ from the automated calculation in rare cases. In such instances, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please order with enough time to spare. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery dates. Note that all products are transported by air; they are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
All products handled by our company are fundamentally designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please understand that they do not comply with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents for Japanese inspection purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private land, or off-road," and please install and use them at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packing box or the product. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges for items with shipping damage, defective products, or items different from what was ordered if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that for products sold through our company, warranty support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
